Mammad Burjaliyev (Mahammad Burjaliyev) was born in Sheki.
After graduating from a five-year school in Sheki, he entered the Karl Lipknicht factory school in Baku. Here he took literature lessons from Mikayil Mushfig. Mikayil Mushfig enrolled him in a literary club. After graduating from the Karl Lipknicht factory school (1932), he studied at the Workers' Pedagogical Technical School, where he became closely acquainted with Sabit Rahman. In 1932, he was invited to the Sheki State Drama Theater as an actor (1932-1935). From 1935 until the end of his life, he worked at the Ganja State Drama Theater. He was the artistic director and director of the Ganja State Drama Theater (1950-1955). The play "Yadigar" was staged at the Ganja State Drama Theater (1948). He directed 11 plays. Together with Fikrat Amirov, he first created the Ganja State Philharmonic (1944-1945). In the same years, he was entrusted with the leadership of the Ganja State Philharmonic. He studied at the acting and directing faculty of the Krupskaya Moscow State University of Arts (1967-1968).
Honored Artist (1955), People's Artist (1958) Mammad Burjaliyev died in Ganja in 1994.
