Mammad Huseynov (Mammadagha Huseynov) was born in Baku.
He studied at the Azim Azimzade Art School (1947-1949), the Art Faculty of the All-Union State Institute of Cinematography (1949-1955).
Since 1956, he has worked as a production designer at the "Azerbaijanfilm" film studio. He was the secretary of the Board of Directors of the Union of Cinematographers of Azerbaijan (1972-1977).
He was engaged in pedagogical activities at the Azerbaijan State Institute of Arts.
Honored Artist (1976), People's Artist (2000) Mammad Huseynov died in 2002.
