Movsum Huseynov (Mohsun Huseynkhanli) was born in Lachin.
He studied at the Azerbaijan State Institute of Arts (1980-1985).
He worked at the Sumgayit State Musical Drama Theater (1982-1995, 2010-2025), the Azerbaijan State Musical Comedy Theater (1995-1997), and the Baku Municipal Theater (1997-2008).
Honored Artist (2018) Movsum Huseynov died in 2025 and was buried in the Sumgayit cemetery.
