Mukhlis Janizadeh was born in Baku.
He studied at the Azerbaijan State Theater Technical School and the State Theater Institute (Kazim Ziya's course).
He was an actor of the Azerbaijan State Academic Drama Theater (1953-1963). He was also known as a master of artistic recitation, stage speech teacher, and director.
From 1961 until the end of his life, he taught at the Azerbaijan State Theater Institute. He staged performances at the Institute's Teaching Theater.
He starred in the foreign film producers' film "For Honor" (1956, directed by Artashes Ay-Artyan / Armenia) and the film "The Last Inch" (1958, directed by Teodor Vulfovich, Nikita Kurikhin) as a mechanic.
Honored Artist (1960) Mukhlis Janizade died in 1972.
