Nabat Samadova (Nabat Maharramgizi / Nabat Gurbanova) was born in the city of Gazakh.

She studied at the Azim Azimzade Art School, specializing in easel painting (1974), and at the All-Union Institute of Advanced Study, specializing in production artist (1979-1980).

Since 1975, she has worked as a production artist at the Lankaran State Drama Theater, and since 1980 as a chief artist. In 1982, she was appointed chief artist at the Sumgayit State Musical Drama Theater (1982-1990). Since 1999, she has been working at the Azerbaijan State Academic Musical Theater. She has designed stage performances at the Baku Municipal Theater, the Ganja State Drama Theater, and the Azerbaijan State Yerevan Theater. She has been a production artist for more than 60 theater performances and 20 television films.

She is an Honored Artist (2018).
