Nadir Badalov

Nadir Badalov was born in the Buzovna settlement of Baku.
He studied at the Cultural and Educational Department of the Library College named after N. Krupskaya, and at the Theater Studies Faculty of the Azerbaijan State Institute of Arts.
During his studies, he worked as a research assistant at the Azerbaijan State Theater Museum. He was an editor at the Azerbaijan Radio and Television Committee (1984-1987), a senior editor at the Azerbaijantelefilm Creative Union (1987-1991), a department head at the “215 KL” studio (1991-1993), a chief editor at Space television, head of the “Creativity” department (1998), the author and artistic director of the “Günaydın” morning program, the chief editor of the “El” magazine of the ANS PRESS Press House (2006-2010), and an editor at the “Salnamefilm” studio. He was the author and host of many radio and TV projects.
He is the author of the books “Azerbaijani Mosques” and “Kino gozle soz arasinda” (2023).
He teaches at the Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Arts.
He is the Chairman of the Board of the Azerbaijan Guild of Film Critics.
