Nadir Khasiyev

Nadir Khasiyev was born in the Bijo village of Agsu.

He studied at the Musical Comedy Acting Department of the Azerbaijan State Institute of Arts (1974-1984) and the Vocal Department of the Baku Academy of Music (1994-1998).

While still a student, he began working as a mime actor at the Opera and Ballet Theater (1981). Since 1982, he has worked in the theater's choir. After graduating, he worked as an actor at the Sumgayit State Musical Drama Theater. Since 1993, he has been working at the Azerbaijan State Musical Comedy Theater.

He is an Honored Artist (2019).

Actor Nadir Khasiyev is the father of singer Elay Khasiyev.
