Nahida Orujova was born in Baku.
She studied at the Drama and Cinema Acting Department of the Azerbaijan State Institute of Arts (1984, course of Mikayil Mirza and Fuad Hajiyev).
She worked for a while at the Sumgayit State Drama Theater. In 1993, she was accepted as a soloist-vocalist at the Azerbaijan State Musical Comedy Theater.
She is an Honored Artist (2012).
