Nargila Garibova was born in Krasnodar, Russia.

She received a bachelor's degree (2001) and a master's degree (2006) from the Drama and Film Acting Department of the Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Art.

She began her stage career at the "Deli şıncağı" pantomime theater studio led by Bakhtiyar Khanizade (1999-2000). She continued to work there after the studio was transformed into the Azerbaijan State Pantomime Theater in 2000. She played her first major role, Leylin, in the two-act ballet performance "Geldim ki, olam ğamin harifi..." at the Ankara Theater Festival in 1999. For her role in this performance, she won the nomination "For a brilliant actor's play in the complex plastic structure of the role" at the VI International Festival of Pantomime and Modern Plastic Arts (2002, Irkutsk). She also worked as a director at the theater. Her debut play, "Yol", which she also conceived, was presented at the "Yeni Teatr" Festival in 2007. After that, she again directed the plays "Adsız" based on the plot she wrote and "Tıq-tıq khanım" based on the work of the same name by Abdulla Shaig.

She starred in the Russian-made short film "Gurban" (2011).

She is an Honored Artist (2006).

Actress Nargila Garibova is the wife of actor Jeyhun Dadashov.
