Nasiba Zeynalova was born in Baku, in the family of Jahangir Zeynalov, the founder of the Azerbaijani national realistic acting school.
In 1932, she became a member of the drama club of Reza Tahmasib. In 1937, she began working as an actress in the mobile Kolkhoz and Sovkhoz Theater, which had been operating seasonally (from April to October) since 1934 in Baku. She worked there for a year, and in 1938 she was accepted into the troupe of the newly established Azerbaijan State Musical Comedy Theater. That same year, she entered the Baku Theater School and received an acting education. In 1941, she graduated from the Theater Technical School and began working at the Musical Comedy Theater.
She starred in the film “Love at First Sight” (1975, directed by Rezo Esadze / Russia, Georgia) by foreign film producers.
Honored Artist (1960), People's Artist (1967), Laureate of State Prizes (1974, 1981) Nasiba Zeynalova died in 2004 and was buried in the Alley of Honor.
