Nigar Suleyman (Nigarkhanim Suleymanova) was born in Baku.

She studied at the Bulbul Secondary Specialized Music School and the Baku Academy of Music Faculty of Composition (2023).

During her studies, she wrote works such as preludes for piano, sonatas, miniatures, piano trio, string quartet, piano quintet, chamber works, and a 3-part symphony for large symphony orchestra.

She was awarded 2nd place at the Baku Jazz Festival (2019), 1st place at the WBM competition (2024), 2nd place at the Caspiart Türkiye competition (2018), 1st place at the 20th International Composition Competition (2015, Russia).

Her works have been performed in various countries by the State Chamber Orchestra, the Azerbaijan State Symphony Orchestra Cadenza Orchestra, the Moscow Contemporary Music Ensemble, the Musikfabrik Brass Quintet (Germany) and other performers.

In 2021, he was selected as a participant in the Erasmus study program of the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre and took electroacoustic composition classes.
