Niyaz Sharifov was born in Baku.
He studied at the Baku Theater School, at the school of Badal bey Badalbeyov.
From his student years until 1933, when this theater moved to Ganja, he acted in the Baku Turkish Workers' Theater. When the Musical Comedy Theater was created in 1938, he first worked as a technical director, then as a production director. With certain breaks, he worked in this collective until the end of his life.
Honored Artist (1974) Niyaz Sharifov died in 1982.
