Novrasta Hashimova

Novrasta Hashimova was born in Baku.

She studied at the Drama and Film Acting Department of the Azerbaijan State Institute of Arts (1973-1977).

During her high school years, she played various roles in the People's Theater operating at the Jafar Jabbarli House of Culture. Since 1973, she has been working at the Sumgayit State Drama Theater.

She was awarded the "Taraggi" (Progress) medal (2008). She is an Honored Artist (2000).
