Polad Mammadov was born in Baku.
He studied at the Azerbaijan State Art School named after Azim Azimzade (1987-1991), the Ceramics Faculty of the Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Art (1991-1997).
He worked as a cameraman at Space TV (2002-2005), Public Television, Azerbaijan Television, and Baku Media Center.
He is currently an employee of Public Television.
He is also engaged in photography, participates in exhibitions.
He teaches drawing classes.
