Rafig Nasirov was born in Sabirabad.
He studied at the Architecture Department of the Polytechnic College (1964) and the Architecture Department of the Azerbaijan State Polytechnic Institute (1964-1969).
Since 1969, he has worked as an architect at the “Azerbaijanfilm” film studio, and since 1980, he has been heading the decorative equipment department, and since that year he has also worked as a production designer.
He was awarded the “Golden Fairy” Award in the “Best Production Designer” nomination for the film “The Dance of Good and Evil” (2018).
Winner of the “Humay” Award (2003), Honored Artist (2000), People's Artist (2007) Rafig Nasirov died in 2024.
