Rafig Samandar

Rafig Samandar (Rafig Aladdinov) was born in the village of Rustov, Guba region.

He studied at the Faculty of Philology of Azerbaijan State University.

He worked as an editor, editor-in-chief, and head of the union at Azerbaijan Television, editor-in-chief at UNTI TV channel, head of the editorial department at Yurd magazine, group leader at Lider TV (2000-2002), director of “Literature and Art” and “Special Projects Department” at Public Television, and editor-in-chief of the “Jarchifilm” Creative Union. He taught at Azerbaijan International University. He is the author of 20 works of fiction and 25 plays, and the book “Martyrs” dedicated to the martyrs of January 20, published in 150,000 copies.

He is an Honored Journalist (2011).
