Rafig Huseynli

Rafig Huseynli (Rafig Huseynov) was born in Shusha.

After graduating from secondary school, he started working as a lighting engineer on television at the age of 17. After passing the announcer competition, he first appeared on the air as an announcer in December 1966. He worked as an announcer and host on Azerbaijan State Television for a long time. He worked in various fields on television, from lighting engineer to deputy chairman. He was an editor of many films.

He taught at the Baku Institute of Social Management and Political Science.

People's Artist (1990), professor, State Prize laureate Rafig Huseynli died in Düsseldorf, Germany, in 2017 and was buried at the Yasamal cemetery.

Announcer Rafig Huseynli was the husband of announcer Roza Tagiyeva and screenwriter Sabina Huseynli.
Announcer Rafig Huseynli is the father of presenter and actress Leyli Huseynli.
