Ramil Gasimov

Ramil Gasimov was born in Baku.
He studied at the vocal department of the State Children's Philharmonic (1995-1997, Mobil Ahmadov's class), at the choir-conducting class of the Niyazi Music School No. 22 (1995-2001), at the Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Arts in the specialty of musicology, solo singing, chamber and opera singer (2001-2005), at the Georgian Academy of Music in the specialty of vocal, and at the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the specialty of political management.
He worked as a soloist at the Azerbaijan State Musical Comedy Theater (1999), head of the production department (2008-2010), artistic director of the musical collectives of the Azerbaijan Television and Radio Broadcasting CJSC and director of the Recording House (2012), director of the Culture Channel (2015-2020), director of the Heydar Aliyev Palace (2020-2022).
He has been the director of the Ganja State Philharmonic named after Fikrat Amirov since 2023.
He is an Honored Artist (2015).
