Samaya Sadigova

Samaya Sadigova was born in Baku.

She studied at the Azerbaijan State Institute of Arts (1977).

She began working at the Sumgayit State Musical Drama Theater by appointment (1977-1995). Her first role was the role of Susan Sunbul in the play "Adamın adamı" (Anar). Since 1995, she has worked at the Azerbaijan State Musical Comedy Theater. Due to certain reasons, she left art for 3 years. Since 2001, she has been an actress of the Baku Municipal Theater.

She was awarded the "Golden Dervish" award for her role as the mother in the play "Ogul" (2004).

She is an Honored Artist (2000).
