Samir Farzalibeyov (Mako) was born in Baku.
He studied at the Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Arts.
He participated in the filming of many music videos as a director. He worked as a visual effects specialist in Russia (2020) and Ukraine (2021-2022). He currently works as a lighting technical director (visual effects specialist) at the Wētā FX company in New Zealand.
Visual effects specialist Samir Farzalibeyov is the son of director Marahim Farzalibeyov.
