Seyidagha Movsumlu (Seyidagha Movsumov) was born in Ujar.

He studied at the All-Union Institute of Television and Radio in Moscow (1981).

He began his career as an assistant television operator at the Azerbaijan State Television and Radio Committee and continued as an operator. He was one of the first operators to film the popular movement that began in 1988, the January 20 tragedy, the Khojaly genocide, and the Karabakh war as a whole. He has been in all regions of Karabakh, Nakhchivan, and other regions since 1988. He was one of the first volunteers of the first battalion created by the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defense - the Shikhov battalion. He fought in operations against the invaders in this battalion and was wounded twice. Since 1992, he has worked as an operator at the press center of the Ministry of Defense. Until 2002, he held various positions in the Ministry of Defense. He was discharged from the army in 2002 and returned to the Azerbaijan Television and Radio Broadcasting Closed Joint Stock Company.

Seyidagha Movsumlu died in 2018.
