Sofiua Huseynova (Sofa Ismayilova) was born in Baku.
She appeared on stage in children's roles from school age. On the recommendation of her mother, who was an actress, she joined the theater troupe in 1944. After working for a short time at the Zagatala State Drama Theater (1945), she returned to Nakhchivan. She worked at the Nakhchivan State Musical Drama Theater until the end of her life.
Laureate of the Order of "Glory" (1996), Honored Artist (1974), People's Artist (1982) Sofiya Huseynova died in Nakhchivan in 2015.
Actress Sofiya Huseynova was the wife of actor Melik Dadashov.
