Sonakhanim Mikayilova

Sonakhanim Mikayilova (Sona Mikayilova / Sonakhanim Ibrahimova-Mikayilova / Sona Ibrahimova) was born in Baku.

She studied at the film studio, at the All-Union State Institute of Cinematography (1979, Yevgeny Matveyev's course).

Since 1989, she has been working at the "Yug" Theater.

She starred in the TV series "Drongo" (2002, director Zinoviy Roizman, in the role of Narmina / Russia) and "Weapon" (2008, director Alexander Kasatkin / Russia) by foreign film producers.

She teaches at the Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Arts.

Honored Artist (2011), Honored Teacher (2023).

Actress Sonakhanim Mikayilova is the mother of director, actor Mikayil Mikayilov.
