Suleyman Alasgarov was born in Baku.
He studied at the Financial Technical School and the Azerbaijan State Medical Institute.
He left medical education incomplete due to his attachment to the stage arts. He appeared on stage in 1933 in the drama club of the Sailors' House of Culture. In 1936, he was accepted as an actor into the Young Spectators Theater through a competition and worked on this stage continuously for 63 years.
Honored Artist (1954), People's Artist (1982) Suleyman Alasgarov died in 1998.
