Tahira Taghiyeva

Tahira Taghiyeva (Tahira Cherpanova) was born in Marneuli, Georgia.

She studied at the correspondence department of the Faculty of Journalism of Baku State University (2002-2007).

Since 2003, she has worked at the Ganja Independent Journalism Center through Internews. She has prepared plots for the “Xaber+” information program of Alternative TV (Ganja). Since 2004, her articles have been published in the regional page of the weekly edition of the “Zerkalo” newspaper and in the “Ganjabasar” newspaper. Since 2007, she has been an employee of Public Television. Currently, she is a regional correspondent for Ganja.
