Vafa Aghabalayeva

Vafa Aghabalayeva (Vafa Hamzayeva) was born in Goygol.

She studied Journalism at Baku State University (2010-2014), and received a master's degree in Radio, TV and Cinema at Ankara University (2014-2016).

She worked as the head of the Journalists Working Group at the Azerbaijan State University of Radio and Television (2011-2013), a presenter at CBC television (2015-2018), a presenter at Khazar FM (2018), a presenter at Antenna FM (2018), a presenter and special correspondent at Azerbaijan television (2019-2022). Since 2022, she has been working as a presenter and special correspondent at Real television.

She was awarded the "Modern Audiovisual View" award (2019) for the film "Dönga".
