Valeh Karimov

Valeh Karimov was born in Miyana, South Azerbaijan.

He studied at the Drama and Film Actor Faculty of the Azerbaijan State Institute of Arts (1969).

Since 1969, he has worked at the Sumgayit Musical Drama Theater (1969-2015). He was an actor and director of the Ganja State Drama Theater (2015-2023). Since 2023, he has been working as an actor and production director at the Mingachevir State Drama Theater.

He taught at the Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Art.

He is an Honored Artist (1990), People's Artist (2000).

Actor Valeh Karimov is the brother of actor and theater director Loghman Karimov.
