Vugar Hamidov (Vugar Sultan Hamid / Vugar Kamranoghlu) was born in Baku.
He studied at the Faculty of Theater and Cinema Arts of the Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Art, specializing in feature film and television film director (1996-2000).
He worked at AzTV, Public TV and Lider TV. He was the director of various studies broadcast on television, the series "Film Media", "Cinematograph: Classics and Moderns", the programs "Kinoprolog" and "Filmexposition", and many graphic titles.
