AzerNewMedia Limited Liability Company was founded on March 13, 2017 by screenwriter and director Kamran Gasimov. From the very beginning, the company began to base its activities on the translation of audiovisual products into various languages ​​and the preparation of their subtitles in SRT and InteropCinema formats. The company's activities also include voice-over and dubbing of audiovisual products.
One of the company's main projects is the "Cinema Radio" radio program, developed with the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan and broadcast on AVTO FM since July 2019. The project provides a comparative analysis of the local and global audiovisual market, presents audio scenes from films, audio trailers, and holds discussions with guests invited to the cinema and radio channel. The project's host and editor is RJ Yagut, sound supervisor is Samir Asadov, and music director is Yashar Bakhish. “Cinema Radio” was accepted as a member of the Press Council in 2021.
“AzerNewMedia” is the executor of the podcast project published on the website and other social network accounts of the Union of Cinematographers of Azerbaijan. The company is an official supporter of many projects implemented in the field of art and carries out creative media and PR coordination work.
The company is the founder of the “Modern Audiovisual Review” award, which has been presented annually since 2020.
