Buta (II) (2011)

The film is a parable about great love - love for man and God. The main characters are children at the very beginning of their life's journey. Little Buta is more fortunate - he has a wise teacher. An old man who sells liquid soap. He helps Buta in everything. His greatest dream is to restore the old mill. Buta wants to build a buta pattern on the top of the mountain that can only be seen from a bird's eye view. Envious village children prevent him. A representative of a soap-making company comes to the village to advertise their products, and a local girl falls in love with Goncha. Goncha must quickly finish the "carpet of life" she has woven in order to reunite with her lover. Several lines end in parallel. Goncha finishes the "carpet of life", Buta completes her buta, and the old man restores the old mill and ... falls asleep forever.

The film is one of the winning scripts within the framework of the "Avanti" project, which is funded by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation. In 2007, Ilgar Najaf, together with film playwright Ramiz Fataliyev, prepared a new version of the "Buta" script, and in 2009 it was put into production by order of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism.

The film was shot in the villages of Zarat, Kheybar, Avakhli, Archivan and Demirchi in Shamakhi.
