Birthday (1977)
Mustafa, the teacher in Shaki, is coming to Baku on a business trip. He meets Farida. Touring Baku with Farida, Mustafa has to go to Farida's house due to heavy rain. In the middle of the night, Mustafa leaves Farida's house and walks lonely on the streets of Baku. Paint worker Ali decides to celebrate his son's birthday and gather his childhood friends together. He is preparing for his birthday event with serious effort. The guests are gathering. Ali falls asleep halfway through the event due to excitement and exhaustion. Friends are enjoying themselves. Ali wakes up to find that the event is over and everyone has dispersed. He goes out to the balcony and sees Mustafa passing by; invites guests to his home. The film is based on the stories "Birthday" and "Business trip" by Rustam Ibrahimbeyov The film was commissioned by Central Television. ADR television presented a diploma to the film (1980, Berlin / Germany).
